The church was from my sketch book, the Poppies, Bluebells, Lillies etc are from the garden at the time of painting.

With this painting, each detail, especially the flowers were painted first on another canvas, then with the left over paint, fast and loose, I painted the same flowers here, this painting has the wild loose versions.
